Winter Weather Advisory issued October 31 at 5:57PM AKDT until November 1 at 4:00AM AKDT by NWS Anchorage AK * WHAT...Snow. Additional snow accumulations of up to 2 inches. Storm total snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches except 2 inches or less toward Homer. * WHERE...Western Kenai Peninsula. * WHEN...Until 4 AM AKDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning and evening commutes. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow will begin to diminish in intensity by this evening. Light snow will linger across the Western Kenai Peninsula through early Friday morning before tapering off. Pockets of light freezing rain/drizzle are possible as the snow comes to an end.
