Frosts with temperatures down to -2 degrees are forecast for Monday morning in parts of the Northern Country, North Central, Central, West and South Gippsland and East Gippsland forecast districts. Frost Warning Temperatures at ground level can be many degrees lower than those recorded by standard weather stations, especially in calm conditions with very clear skies.

Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures, showers and northerly winds are expected during Monday. Areas likely to be affected include parts of the North East, South West, Central and East Gippsland forecast districts. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.
