Cannon River at Northfield affecting Dakota and Rice Counties. ...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Minnesota and Wisconsin... South Fork Crow River at Delano affecting Hennepin and Wright Counties. Minnesota River at Mankato affecting Nicollet and Blue Earth Counties. Minnesota River at New Ulm affecting Nicollet, Blue Earth and Brown Counties. Minnesota River at Savage affecting Dakota, Carver, Hennepin and Scott Counties. Minnesota River at Henderson MN19 affecting Le Sueur, Scott and Sibley Counties. Minnesota River near Jordan affecting Scott, Carver and Sibley Counties. The forecast rainfall amounts with this system will be captured in the river forecasts that are issued Wednesday night and Thursday morning. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Minnesota River at Savage. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 712.0 feet, Water begins to back up in Credit River to affect hwy 101. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 900 AM CDT Sunday, the stage was 706.3 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 900 AM CDT Sunday was 706.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise and crest near 711.5 feet early Friday afternoon. - Flood stage is 702.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 711.6 feet on 03/29/2011. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
