Red Flag Warning issued June 26 at 8:22AM MDT until June 26 at 9:00PM MDT by NWS Boise ID ...SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WITH GUSTY OUTFLOW WINDS... ...LOW HUMIDITY AND STRONG SUSTAINED WINDS IN SOUTHEAST OREGON THIS AFTERNOON... .Scattered thunderstorms have developed and will spread north and east this morning across southeast Oregon and southwest Idaho. Thunderstorms are expected to end in southeast Oregon by early this afternoon, but an increase in sustained winds and low humidity will keep red flag conditions going. Thunderstorms will persist into southwest and west-central Idaho through this evening. The National Weather Service in Boise has issued a Red Flag Warning for lightning and winds and low relative humidity, which is in effect until 9 PM MDT this evening. * Thunderstorms...Scattered thunderstorms ending this afternoon, followed by winds and low RH this afternoon into this evening. * Winds...Southwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. * Relative Humidity...As low as 11 percent. * Timing...Until 9 PM MDT /8 PM PDT/ this evening. A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now, or will occur shortly.
