Winds up to 70 mph are possible over headlands and very exposed terrain. * WHERE...The Coos and Curry County coastlines along and south of Cape Arago, including beaches, headlands, state parks, portions of Highway 101, and the communities of Brookings, Gold Beach, Port Orford, and Bandon. * WHEN...Until 10 AM PST Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and avoid windows. Watch for falling debris and tree limbs. Use caution if you must drive.

Waves will transition from west today to south tomorrow. * WHERE...South Central Oregon Coast and Curry County Coast. * WHEN...Until 10 AM PST Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Very large breaking waves will create very hazardous conditions along beaches and area shorelines. Waves will inundate beaches and surge into normally dry areas. Infrastructure damage and significant beach erosion can be expected. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Waves will initially impact west facing beaches today but will transition to impacting south facing beaches tomorrow. * View the hazard area in detail at https://www.wrh.noaa.gov/map/?wfo=mfr Beaches and coastlines will become hazardous due to very large and life-threatening surf conditions. Stay off of beaches, rocks, jetties,piers, and other waterside infrastructure.
