Flood Warning issued June 22 at 2:36PM CDT until June 23 at 9:30AM CDT by NWS Hastings NE * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of central Nebraska, including the following counties, Howard, Merrick, Nance and Sherman. * WHEN...Until 930 AM CDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water. It will take several hours for all the water from these storms to work through local drainage systems. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 234 PM CDT, emergency management reported continued flooding in the warned area due to heavy rain and thunderstorms. Flooding is already occurring. Between 3 and 6 inches of rain fell Friday night. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
