In northeast Illinois, Grundy, Kane, Kendall and McHenry. * WHEN...Through Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Underpasses may be flooded. Roads and streets may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Slow-moving, heavy thunderstorms have rapidly developed across portions of northern and northwestern Illinois. Slow storm motions and high atmospheric moisture content will support the potential for repeated rounds high rainfall rates in the same general areas. Some portions of northern Illinois also have elevated soil moisture from recent heavy rainfall.
