Mississippi River at Bellevue LD12 affecting Carroll, Clinton, Jo Daviess and Jackson Counties. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Mississippi River at Rock Island LD15. * WHEN...From Wednesday afternoon until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 17.5 feet, Water affects the railroad tracks in downtown Davenport and River Drive, Pershing Avenue, and Federal Street. Water affects Bettendorf's Leach Park. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:30 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 14.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to 17.7 feet Tuesday, July 02. Additional rises are possible thereafter. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Additional information is available at www.weather.gov/quadcities. Flood Watch issued June 25 at 9:03PM CDT until June 26 at 7:00AM CDT by NWS Quad Cities IA IL * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of Illinois, including the following areas, Bureau, Hancock, Henderson, Henry IL, McDonough, Mercer, Putnam, Rock Island and Warren, Iowa, including the following areas, Cedar, Des Moines, Henry IA, Iowa, Jefferson, Johnson, Keokuk, Lee, Louisa, Muscatine, Scott, Van Buren and Washington, and northeast Missouri, including the following areas, Clark and Scotland. * WHEN...Until 7 AM CDT Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Numerous thunderstorms producing very heavy rainfall will continue overnight. Several inches of rain in a short time remain possible. You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.
