Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1033 AM EDT, local law enforcement reported heavy rainfall and flooding across the warned area. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Knoxville, Morristown, Maryville, Sevierville, Alcoa, Jefferson City, Newport, Rogersville, Gatlinburg, Dandridge, Sneedville, Rutledge, Jonesville, Pigeon Forge, New Tazewell, Bean Station, Louisville, Tazewell, White Pine and Plainview. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and avoid windows. Watch for falling debris and tree limbs. Use caution if you must drive.
