Temperature – what is it, actually?
In weather, temperature is one of the fundamental properties of air. It can vary greatly depending on geographical area and time of the year.
Temperature is affected for example by proximity of the sea, hills and valleys, air masses, distribution of solar radiation, rains and clouds.
Temperature of the atmosphere is relate the kinetic energy of the particles, i.e. molecules forming the atmosphere. The coldest possible temperature is -459,67 degrees Fahrenheit (-273,15 degrees Celsius). This temperature is called absolute zero. In this theoretical temperature molecules do not move at all.
